The new Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, hasn’t yet had a chance to get her feet wet, so I’ll reserve my opinions of how how she performs her duties until we have more evidence to go on. But I wanted to make a note of how in her press conference today regarding the horrible tragedy of the shootings at a church in Charleston last night, she was nothing like her predecessor, Eric Holder. Holder often invoked divisive racial rhetoric in speeches, press conferences, and interviews. Ms. Lynch did nothing of the kind. She maintained a professionalism worthy of her position.
