Tonight, Fox News and Google will co-host the presidential primary debate where the Republican candidates will make their final case before next Monday’s Iowa Caucus. Everyone but Donald Trump will be there because Donald Trump has the emotions.
The preliminary “undercard” debate begins at 7pm Eastern time, 6pm Central. The participants will be Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, and Jim Gilmore.
Jim Gilmore? Who’s that?
Exactly. But he’ll be there anyway.
The main event begins at 9pm Eastern, 8pm Central. Scheduled to appear are Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Jeb! Bush, Chris Christie, John Kasich, and Rand Paul. No The Donald. He’s apparently throwing a vindictive event for the veterans–always the best kind of event for veterans–at the same time as the prime-time debate. Sour grapes Huckabee and Santorum will also attend the event after their debate is done.
You can watch the debate on the Fox News Channel if you have cable. Fox News will also stream the event on its website without a need for a subscription. There’s also the Fox News mobile apps and Fox News Radio. You probably know the routine by now.
Here’s your open thread for the debate.
