A federal appeals court has overturned a previous block on Louisiana’s law, HB388, which put into place standards that would help protect women who seek abortions. The law states that doctors must have hospital admitting privileges, the facilities where abortions are performed would have to maintain the same standards as other surgical facilities, and patients would have to be fully informed of the “procedure” they are about to undergo.
The law is similar to the one passed in Texas which will go before the Supreme Court of the United States in March of this year. It’s probably safe to assume that this case will also end up in front of the Supreme Court.
Pro-baby-killers would like people to think these laws are harmful to women. But how can safer facilities, better trained doctors, and patients fully understanding what’s about to happen to them be harmful?
It still amazes me that we even have to argue and fight to protect innocent lives. How is it possible that there are people who are fighting for the right to kill the most innocent in our civilization?
