March 22, 2016 GOP Primaries And Stuff

Utah, Arizona, and American Samoa cast their votes for the Republican nomination today. After today we get a little break from primaries until April 1st.

Utah, with 40 delegates, has a closed caucus and the delegates are divided proportionally. However, if a candidate wins 50% of of the vote, that candidate wins all of the at-large delegates and the congressional district delegates.

Arizona has a closed primary and the winner will receive all 58 delegates.

American Samoa has an open convention and the nine delegates are unbound.

The current delegate count is Trump/678 and Cruz/423. Oh! And Oh!hi!Oh! has 143 delegates.

In other news…The Obama’s made history again! It’s bad history again. It’s embarrassing history again. But hey! It’s history! Again. Nothing says “America is awesome” like the President of the United States standing in front of a big ol’ glorification of Che!

Kasich thinks he can win the Republican nomination.

And Trump is doing more flip flops than Mary Lou Retton during the 1984 Summer Olympics. And he’s still upset over his tiny little hands. So don’t mention them. Okay?
