As crazy as it sounds, the pressure may be on the DNC to force Hillary to debate Bernie on Fox News Channel. When interviewed on Special Report by Bret Baier on several occasions recently, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, DNC Chairwoman, always responds with “we’ll take it under advisement” when asked if the DNC would arrange a Democrat debate on FNC.
Since Hillary acts like a priest who just came face to face with Count Dracula when asked questions by any “conservative” journalist on the campaign trail, it would seem unfathomable she would agree to a debate on FNC. Or is it?
Bernie and his followers are beginning to treat the Democrat establishment like leftists has always treated Republicans and conservatives. They turned the Nevada Democrat Convention into one chaotic mess by shouting down and booing Sen. Barbara Box (D-Calif) who is a Hillary supporter. There were also reports of violence that have caused even more friction between Sanders (and his supporters), the DNC, and many establishment Democrats.
Fox is now reporting Sanders has agreed to debate Clinton on FNC. Clinton has yet to respond and would never agree to this under normal circumstances. Insert the previously mentioned Nevada Convention.
Sanders’ voters are beginning to make Mutiny on the Bounty look like a southern tea party on the veranda. A year ago the DNC thought they would have a quick primary season with an unbeatable presidential candidate that would also translate into big down ballot wins.
Now too many are feeling the “Bern”, including the DNC. Will the Bernsters turn not only on Hillary in the general election, but also the DNC and its Democrats if the DNC doesn’t pressure Hillary to do a debate on FNC? I don’t know but regardless of the FNC debate outcome, this has all the makings of one great ride.
***UPDATE by Freedom Recon***
It seems the DNC did not encourage Clinton to do the debate, since it was reported last night that Hillary Clinton has declined. Will the DNC step in now? If holds firm on this, what happens next in the Democrat party?
