As you know, on Monday the Supreme Court struck down a Texas abortion law that said abortion clinics need to have hospital grade facilities and that abortion “doctors” must have admitting privileges at a local hospital. These things were ruled to put an undue burden on a woman seeing an abortion, so the law was ruled unconstitutional.
I saw a headline after the verdict was announced saying this was a “big win” for feminists. Even if you think abortion should be legal, why would you not want women to have this surgery in the safest environment possible? How is it a big win for women if something goes wrong during an abortion the people there aren’t qualified to help you?
How exactly does this “big win for feminists” do anything to help women?
