In a post last week titled Today’s Stuff, I used the term “illegal immigrants.” Daddy FR has objected to this.
I received this text over the weekend.

Just reading your “Today’s Stuff” post. I thought I taught you better, but I guess I need to put you through a communist linguistic refresher. When you discuss legal vs illegal immigrants, you are using “their language.” Illegals are “aliens” because to be an immigrant you have to go through an immigration process or system. You can use next post to do penance for our transgression. Short and sweet will suffice, but make it soon for your readers’ sake. ILYB.
So consider this my penance.
