Both dominating political parties try to scare their base into voting their way. The left’s target is white supremacy and the right’s target is socialism. The fact that both overplay their hands has made most average Americans numb to it. People are overwhelmed by the constant barrages. It is over baring and it is beyond exhausting.
Yes, Marxism/Socialism/Communism is deadly. But it is the insecurities of those opposed to it that have their arms flailing. And since at least the 1930s, it has permeated through American culture in movies, athletics and entertainment. But what has the right down except yell about it? Have the party members gone into cities teaching locals that the left leaning big gov’t ideals are bad? No. Most I see is social media personalities yell about it. Yes, exposure is nice. But what makes them think people don’t hear them? What makes them think that people don’t know? It is because they are so scared they cannot see past that fear.
Is socialism bad? Yes. Anything that turns us from a free and voluntary market system and gives over the means of that to workers who may or may not know enough beyond their own work is doomed for disaster. Socialism is a means to communism which we have seen the most dead happen in the 20th century. From Hitler’s Germany, Mao’s China and Mussolini’s Italy, the far left principles in countries have led to the death of its own people. Today, the human rights abuses by Communist China go unchecked and have people fearing for their lives.
However, screaming about socialism is not penetrating the ideas on the left. Fearmongering about socialism is being screamed into a void and hitting a brick wall. Why? Because the credibility of those screaming has been lost. The missing and active solutions to fix what America’s needs by conservatives have not done its job and left many wondering if conservatism is so great, where is a plan that stems from that to fix it? Where are the plans for Healthcare, our falling infrastructure, and our economy? Why didn’t the right get involved in culture so when it was time to sell conservative plans, we had the media and the institutions to do it? Instead, the right establishment was feckless and let the left take over. Now it has no real platform to discuss or push it’s ideas. The left was able to lie and paint the right as racist because of the pundits they chose to prop up, the backstabbers they let vote for decades and the spineless party that refused to fight or support its fighters. So who will hear the screaming now?
If we leave the public narrative up to the left, they’d say that it is white supremacy that is our biggest worry today. If you let their pundits and reporters tell it, they would make you believe that it is a KKK member behind every tree in America ready to pounce on a minority. Everything we do is racist or to benefit only white people. The way the extreme left tells it, we should be upset that the DNC and democrats didn’t push Kamala Harris, Andrew Yang and Corey Booker further during the 2020 election. White supremacy is everywhere, yet Biden being President is okay.
The left controls most of all media including cable and social media online. They control academia, Hollywood and both chambers of Congress. The left controls sports, writing, and science. The democrats are in control of culture and yet, they aren’t the white supremacist? They have the power in most of American institutions. They have stories of everything from weight, water and air all being racist against minorities. How can I sleep at night?
The left has dominated our American cities for decades. In the cities that had the most recent riots, there were democratic leadership. The stories of policy brutality, the biggest one being George Floyd happened under Democratic Governor, Mayor and police force. It is the DNC with the most power and influence in almost every area in American and yet white supremacy is a threat. They can’t do anything about it? Or are they lying? The fearmongering points to the answer to that.
I know. Both sides want to help and warn Americans about the issues she has that need to be fixed. Instead of coming up comprehensive policy ideas to address the issues we face, and not just throwing money we don’t have at them, both sides let their insecurities show. On one hand, the right exposed that they don’t have faith in capitalism to defeat socialism. They are so scared that the principles cannot stand up to the socialist that they don’t offer conservative values as the solution in a well thought out messaging package to articulate it the American people, that in fact, right leaning values are better. They can’t sell that. They have lost almost every institution and now want to worry Americans that it is all over. The right thinks beating the public over the head with fear will get them to care. But too many are apathetic. Many just drown them out.
The left in owning and possessing access to all of the America’s institutions wants us to fear white dominance. With the power to control and lead from the front, instead Democratic politicians and pundits want Americans to fear white power. They are secretly admitting that they do not possess actual power. They are saying that no matter what, the need to control it all. The minority Republicans in the Senate, the Red States are still too republicans around for them the do anything. The DNC won the last election and the Senate runoff but still because of checks and balances can’t deliver. Everything is still racist Trump’s fault, even as powerless as that man is now.
Both the political parties uses fear because right now THEY do not possess the ability to convince Americans that their own ideas and values are enough to withstand whatever problem America has. The sides and pundits lost the ability to teach us HOW to be the best country again. Yes, each has an agenda to paint the opposing side as America’s enemy. Yet, what they are actually doing is showing how ineffective the establishment truly is in doing what we the people want! They are feckless and we see it.
Solution? Put WE THE PEOPLE back in charge. Most career politicians, especially those with decades under their belt, are out of touch. They don’t realize that the fearmongering is not working. It lines the pockets of pundits and it grows the business of lobbyist but it does nothing to actually solve anything. Fearmongering gets Americans to fight each other and not the power structure that both parties are privy to as they pretend to scare us into submission.
We need to support grassroots efforts of people on the ground that know what communities need. We need to support private charities that actual work next to the people. We need to go local and go after the school boards, mayoral positions or even the local ordnances that do agree with our communities. The establishment doesn’t not care. They want us scared and they want us panicked. We seen this with all the misinformation with Covid, the mixup when it comes to CRT and the disinformation campaign to censor people from social media who have been proven right.
The best way to deal with fear is education. When you know why you are afraid or the motives of the things that are trying to make you afraid you can fight back. With sound policy ideas, real strategic thought and people doing the work, we can get pass the fear mongers and on to getting our hands dirty to do the work.
I am working with the Conscious Conservatives and we are going to local cities to help them and teach values to solve problems. One such city is Chicago. People fear monger and talk about it all day long. Well, we are going to go and show up to help. One young man started a GOP chapter there that did not exist. The GOP is the first to bring attention to the city but is literally not there. Well, now we are. And we are going to help.
Fear is not an option for a strong America. Do not let these fearmongers get to you.
